The program
Pipeline Perfect New-Hire Alerts, run by Pipeline Perfect LLC. When a company that uses Pipeline Perfect hires someone, the new hire gets his own login by email. On his My Onboarding page he can choose to get text messages about his new-hire paperwork by ticking a box that is not ticked until he ticks it, under a notice that says what he will get, how often, what it may cost, and how to stop. Nobody else can turn texts on for him. Once he opts in, Pipeline Perfect texts his cell phone:
- one text right away with the link to finish his new-hire paperwork, confirming he is signed up;
- the same link again if the office resends it; and
- a reminder about every two days while the paperwork is unfinished (no more than 10 reminders), which stops as soon as it is done.
Texts never contain passwords, Social Security numbers, bank details or other sensitive information. They are sent in English or Spanish, whichever the new hire chose.
Consent
Texts are sent only to people who agreed to receive them. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of employment: the same link is sent by email, and the paperwork can be finished without texts.
How often, and cost
Message frequency varies, usually one or two texts when the login is issued, then up to one reminder every two days until the paperwork is finished. Message and data rates may apply.
Stopping texts, and help
Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. You will get one message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no more after that. Reply HELP for help, or email contact-us@pipelineperfect.com.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Mobile phone numbers and texting consent are not shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. A number is used only to send the texts described above, and is passed only to the provider that delivers them (Amazon Web Services). See the Privacy Notice for more.
